The City of Nome, Alaska is seeking qualified applicants for the position of POLICE OFFICER I/II with the Nome Police Department. Applicants can qualify for employment under any of the following:
Nome Police Department
1. As a currently certified Alaska peace officer or officer from a reciprocal agency; or
2. As an entry level, non-certified applicant.
Applicants must be able to meet all qualifications of a peace officer under Alaska Law (13AAC 85.101): must be 21 years of age; have no disqualifiers from law enforcement service; and be willing to submit to all required applicant screening necessary for employment to include a physical examination, psychological examination, and polygraph.
Starting Salary: $24.26 hour plus benefits.
