Anchorage: Director of Investigations
The Alaska State Commission for Human Rights is recruiting for a Director of Investigations in Anchorage . This is a supervisory position classified as a Human Rights Field Representative IV. The incumbent will manage, supervise, and direct the investigation of complaints of human rights law violations, including application of relevant legal theories to specific facts; provide technical assistance and conduct workshops and training sessions regarding civil rights law; provide assistance in developing and implementing agency goals and policies; and supervise investigative staff. Knowledge of civil rights law and procedure is required. This is a partially exempt position. Salary is $4,518 per month (increasing to $4608 per month on July 1, 2006 ) pl us a genero us State of Alaska employment benefits package.
